The last photo above shows one of MANY piles of stuffed animals and toys that we have around the house for our dogs to play with anytime, and every day.  They all love toys!  They like to toss the little toys around and enjoy sleeping on top of the big toys or playing ‘King of the Mountain’ with each other.  They also have our real live big dogs that they do the same thing with.  Our large female dogs like the big stuffed animals to carry with them everywhere.  Our large male dogs prefer to unstuff the big stuffed animals.  Regardless of how the toys are played with, they must be washed regularly, of course.  When they become unusable they are disposed of and replaced with new ones.  Christina loves to go to garage sales for the sole purpose of finding as many new stuffed toys, or still good used ones, to keep our dogs supplied at all times.

We feel blessed to have had the opportunity to enjoy this HUGE house on the beach.  After it burned down we moved on top of a mountain around the Belfair WA area.  Click the link on the sidebar to view photos our new mountain home.  The photo below shows the front of the Westport WA house as it was at the time of the fire.  The only change we made was enclosing the front patio on the first floor and removing the stairs to that patio so the public would stop coming to see if the antique store was still open.   The outside looks like a rustic ocean side building, fondly called ‘the red barn’ by locals and tourists, which suits the weather here, but is not what we had planned for it in the future.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Our new home on the mountain has 3 floors.  Our plans now are to put the hot tub on the main floor balcony patio over the back yard, with the incredibly beautiful view of Mt. Raineer and surrounding forest.  We plan to build the Endless Pool room in an area on the first floor / daylight basement.  We don’t need to do any changes to the outside of the house though, as it is lovely the way it is.

We rebuilt with two duplex condo buildings on the site of our burned down home.  The four luxury townhouse units are also built to meet codes required for Condos.  They are available for purchase or rent.  They are lovely, with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and full garage in each unit.  The grounds have been landscaped and are partially fenced.  It has a breathtaking view of the Bay of the Pacific Ocean from one end and of the Pacific Ocean sunsets over the open beach from the other end.  Each unit has a patio for enjoying the views while lounging outside!  Please contact me if you are interested in viewing, buying, or renting.
