Welcome! My husband, Tom, I are in our 60′s now. We have been married since we were teenagers in 1966. He is a retired Doctor of Chiropractic and I am retired from a career in Business Management. We have two adult sons and an adult daughter. We enjoy our daily lives with our pets, living on top of a beautiful mountain outside Belfair WA, thankful to be alive.

I ran into your site while looking for articles on miracles and just have to let you know that your family is truly amazing and blessed.
Hey Judy, I’m not sure when you will get this, I am hoping you are all doing okay and your husband is recovering from his injuries he sustained while trying to help the animals… I am just curious and hoping this isn’t out of line… I have spoken to some of the volunteers that rescued some of your dogs, they said all of the rescued dogs were adults??? Does this mean that all of max’s brothers and sisters and those born in November/December perished in this unfortunate event, or were they safely removed before volunteers got there? I know of a couple families over here that want to get your wonderful dogs, one woman actually wants to get 2 so they can play with each other. None of the families interested are looking to breed so any animals that come this way will be spade/neutered the way you require. If there is anything at all I can do to help, please let me know, I will be in Westport in the next few weeks (July 9-12) for my family camping trip at twin-harbors state park.
